Hi there. I to have a copy of this painting. The original was painted in 1879 by Francesco Beda. It sold at Sothebys in 2004 for about 30,000 pounds. The original has the 5 ladies as your copy does. Some copies only have 1 man & 2 woman. These are often thought by some people to be the correct copy but I can say with out a doubt the original had 5 woman & 1 man. You have a wonderful what looks like a super great copy & they can be worth anything from $300 to in the thousands. It's worth getting it checked out. Good luck :)
It was on ebay a long time ago and I don't have any information on it that I can find anymore. Sorry. Maybe someone else that reads this post might be able to help.
I saw this painting in a thrift store. Did not have the amount they were asking for on me. By the time I came back it was gone. I would like to know who the artist is too.
I would like to get information on this painting. Who is the artist?
