Thursday Chess Club

Cookie dough sales are rolling!  We have sold about 18-20 which will net us $180.  Please try to sell mo' do' so we can at least make about $400.  Remember our goal is $900.  It appears that Rebecca Self and Raleigh Grossbaum are the sales leaders with 9 buckets apiece.

It was a quiet night with only 12 students.  I was able to reiterate chess etiquette and go over the house rules.  There was some moaning and grumbling about recording games but I think it will help most players play better.  It surely did not help me with my two losses, however!

I am looking forward to the challenge of the Idaho Closed next weekend, as are some of our players.
